Microsoft hat ein meiner Meinung nach vielversprechend und genial aussehendes Programm in der Entwicklung: Photosynth. Der Name sagt ja schon ziemlich viel über die Funktion aus.
Man kann mehrere Fotos mit einander verbinden und das Photosynth erstellt daraus eine 3D-Szene, in der man sich bewegen kann.
Im auf der Seite bereitgestellten Video kann man sich das ganze schon mal anschauen.
Das Programm wird übrigens von Microsoft Live Labs entwickelt, wessen Entwickler einen sehr aufgeweckten und lockeren Eindruck erzeugen. Sie äußern sich im verlinkten Video btw.
