Active Virus Shield baut auf der bekannten Kaspersky Engine auf, deren Entwickler ca. alle 3 Stunden neue Signaturen zum Download anbieten. Im Gegensatz zur Kaspersky Vollversion fehlt die heurestische Erkennung von Viren, dafür arbeitet das Programm wunderbar ressourcenschonend und schnell.

Für ein paar englischsprachige Werbemails einen so guten Virenscanner anzubieten ist von AOL meiner Meinung nach sehr toll.
